Week of October 20th...

Honors:
We are in the midst of reading and watching The Crucible. As we read / watch, we are discussing the true evil and Salem, possible causes of the hysteria, and modern examples of hysteria.

AP Lit:
This week, we are going to take a break from analyzing literature in class and focus on writing an essay for a college application. We will discuss what admission officers are looking for in applicants. We will also have some time to re-write AP practice question #2. Students will have a quiz over Section II of Things Fall Apart.

American:
We will begin the Salem Witch Trials and The Crucible this week. This will be the last thing we read about the Puritans. After we finish this section, we will be writing our assessment task essay for a grade.
